Decree on the terminology used for the highest office of Juclandia
The Motavaliu, acting in conformity with the provisions of the Charter of the Juclandian Pragma, with the advice and consent of the Great National Assembly and based on the authorisation thereof, hereby decrees:
Article 1 — The Official Name of the Office formerly known as the Custodian of the Pragma
The office of the Custodian of the Pragma shall henceforth be known, in all official languages of the Juclandian Pragma, as the office of the Motavaliu
Article 2 — Dispositions regarding the iteration of the Official Name
Wherever the term "Custodian," "Custodian of the Pragma," or any grammatical variant thereof appears in the Charter for the Juclandian Pragma, in Plebiscites, Guidances, Declarations, organic laws, ordinary laws, royal or Custodial decrees, or in any other Act of Law or administrative instrument of Juclandia, it shall be read and understood as referring to the Motavaliu.
When referring to the office as "the Motavaliu", the Romanian definite version of the noun shall be used, which is "Motavaliul".
The designation of a successor made pursuant to Article 7 of the Charter, as well as any arrangements concerning Regency under Article 9 of the Charter in case of incapacity, remain fully valid and unaffected by the present renaming. The successor shall, upon accession, bear the title of Motavaliu.
Article 3 — Dispositions regarding the Transition to the new Use
All acts, seals, citizenship grants issued under Article 4 of the Charter, and other instruments already adopted or issued under the title "Custodian" remain valid and unimpaired. Public bodies, ministries, and institutions shall have a period of sixty (60) days from the entry into force of this Decree to update seals, letterheads, and formal materials bearing the former title, consistent with transitional periods customarily applied in Juclandian legislation.
Article 4 — Final dispositions
Nothing in this decree shall be understood to modify the text of the Charter of the Juclandian Pragma, which remains intanct and may only be amended pursuant to the dispositions thereof.
Approved by the Great National Assembly, assembled in Jucărești on July Nineteenth, Year Two Thousand and Twenty-Six, with a vote of One Hundred and Twenty in Favour, Two Opposed, Two Abstentions, and Nine Absent.
